Productivity is seductive.
There is always another thing to do. Another decision. Another target.
And if everything is moving, it can feel like leadership is working.
But movement isn't the same as direction.
A leader can move quickly and successfully while quietly drifting away from the direction originally intended.
That is why reflection matters.
Not because nothing should happen, but because something needs to occasionally stop long enough to ask:
Are we still going where we meant to go?
Reflection is not the opposite of progress.
Reflection protects progress from becoming drift.
